April 1978

Produits Securo begins operations in spring 1978.


June 1993

The company’s name is changed to "Laboratoire d'optique Securo”.

 

 October 1998
"Laboratoire d'optique Securo" is acquired by "Optometric Services Inc." Securo becomes a subsidiary of the largest group of independent optometrists in Canada.

 

March 1999
“Laboratoire d'optique Securo” changes its name and becomes Securo Vision Inc.

 

March 2000

Securo Vision Inc. is certified ISO 9002.

 

September 2001

Securo Vision Inc. expands its operations and opens a branch in Cambridge, Ont., which operates under the name "Securo Vision Ontario Inc.” and provides greater geographic coverage.

 

March 2002

Securo Vision Ontario Inc. is certified ISO 9001

 

March 2003

Securo Vision Inc. and Securo Vision Ontario Inc. receive their ISO 9001 certification.

 

September 2003

Securo Vision Inc. celebrates its 25th year of serving businesses.


November 2004

Securo Vision Inc. revolutionizes the goggle eyeware industry by marketing the first 2 mm-thick polycarbonate lens meeting impact-resistance standards.


December 2004
Securo Vision Inc. is honored as exhibitor of the year and receives a mention at the Grand Rendez-vous SST 2004 conference organized by the CSST .

 

 

April 2005

Securo Vision Inc. continues to innovate and markets the first 1.5mm-thick polycarbonate lens meeting impact-resistance standards.

 

April 2008

Securo Vision begins its 31st year of serving businesses in the vision-protection field.
