Vision screening for companies - August 2009

In response to a demand created by changes to CSA Standard Z94.3 requiring that safety glasses include side guards permanently attached or molded into the structure of the frame, Securo is performing optometrist-supervised testing of peripheral vision among employees having to perform forklift operations for our business clients.


Recruitment of optometrist trainers - July 2009

Securo Vision Inc. recently appealed to OSI members in order to recruit optometrist trainers for optometrists for its Vision Safety Awareness Program™. The number of responses received to date is very encouraging. All respondents will be contacted soon to begin their training.  Occupational health and safety trade shows - March 2009

The OSI subsidiary Securo Vision is starting a full season of trade shows on workplace health and safety in different cities in Quebec. It all started when SST Forum 2009 in Quebec City on April 30, 2009. The series will continue later at the symposium on health and safety at work in the Eastern Townships, to be held in Sherbrooke on May 19, 2009 and, finally, the workplace health and safety symposium at St. Hyacinthe on May 21, 2009. These trade show are an excellent opportunity to introduce products, build relationships with new customers and solidify positioning in the workplace health and safety field.
